Five Posts To Read First
I started this blog over 10 years ago with two purposes.
The first was to have a place for me to write down and keep ideas and programs that worked well. That way I can always come back to them. Many times in my own ministry I have gone back to look for prayer stations, or indoor games or specific theme nights, and it is great to have it all in one place on this blog.
The second reason I started this was in hopes that someone else could find resources, inspiration and ideas as well. I thought if it works for me, maybe it will work for someone else as well.
In those ten years I have covered a variety of topics from how to start a youth worship team, Meal Ideas that Aren’t Pizza, ways to use Evernote in youth ministry all the way to Winter Olympic theme night!
I want to my 5 favorite posts from the past. These may not be the most popular, most commented, but they are the posts that I think are most helpful. Maybe you can find inspiration, and ideas by starting here. Here we go.
Youth Worship Teams
Featured Category Post – How To – Youth Worship in a Small Church
This was my very first post. A friend of mine Tim Schmoyer ran a post called Life in Student Ministry and he had someone ask him about how to have music led worship when you are in a small church with limited resources. He passed that question on to me and so this whole blogging thing began.
Youth worship teams is something I am passionate about and love talking about. There is definitely more on this page including a podcast series on Building a Youth Worship Team from the Ground Up
