A while back Instagram added the ability for users to upload 15 second videos as well as the photos. These videos are cropped to the same square aspect ratio, and you can add filters as well.
This presents a new opportunity. The Instagram Video Scavenger Hunt
The rules are basically the same as the instagram photo scavenger hunt. Divide your group up, give them a list of items to capture and send them on their way.
A few things we found to be helpful..
1. Include items like in the instagram photo scavenger hunt with actions for the video.
2. Create the stipulation that whatever actions they are doing they must do for the whole video. Cannot cut and past several .5 second actions into a single submission.
3. Be creative with your list. They can sing songs, reenact movies, or act out bible stories. Here is a list we used.
